Mansfield & Surrounds.

Mansfield area Trek 4.

We meet in Mansfield and then onto our camp site alongside the Howqua river. This tour takes in a secluded waterfall and arguably the most famous hut in the mountains and then spends some time at a local brewery, travelling alongside the longest river in Victoria an ending up in the newly rebuilt town of Marysville.

Trek 4 – Mansfield and surrounds.

Day 1 –

We meet in Mansfield and then travel to our camp site Pikes Flat beside the Howqua river. Settle in and get to know each other and discuss the rest of the trek.

Day 2 –

            Visit probably the most famous hut in the area Craig’s Hut (Lunch at Craig’s Hut) return to camp via a secluded waterfall.

Day 3 –

            We visit Sheepyard Flat (Lunch at Sheepyard Flat) and return to camp.

Day 4 –

            Return to Mansfield at lunch time and home.
